The project Ukrainian film "Tank" won the pitching co-production at the Berlin International Film Festival and received funding for further development. At February 15, for the pitching presentations of the Berlin International Film Festival co-production market was presented 36 film projects from around the world. Among of them - Ukrainian full-length debut"Tank" by director Maxim Ksonda.
The project of Ukrainian drama with elements of noir about a boy from a dysfunctional family, which found a German tank since the World War II and trying to sell it (www.TankMovie.net) interested members of the world famous film festival. In the end, it was he was the best in the section «Talent Project Market», which were previously selected ten films from 152 entries. The filmmakers of «Tank» won the Highlight Pitch Award and received a cash reward of 10 000 euros. The money crew can spend on further development of the project.

Recall that in July 2015, "Tank" was the winner of feature film projects for pitching of 6th Odessa International Film Festival, and in November won the pitching held within the film market «Connecting Cottbus» at the International Film Festival in Cottbus. To implement the project must still collect 420 000 euros.
This year at the 66th Berlinale Ukraine also presented in a parallel program – Generation. For prizes of one of the most influential film forums in the world competing short film «SENSIZ» ( «Without you»), by young Ukrainian director Nariman Aliyev, who also received a travel grant, on a trip to Berlin from Iankovskyi Foundation.
Igor Iankovskyi Ukrainian Charity Foundation "Initiative for the Future", for support of the young talent, at this year sponsored a trip to the 66th Berlin International Film Festival delegation of young Ukrainian directors, which includes the winners of the competition at years 2014-2015, as well as those who received official invitation to participate in the various programs of the Berlinale.
