The Igor Iankovskyi Foundation and Monegasque Association Helping Hand together with the Ukrainian State Film Agency have been organising and conducting business lunches for Ukrainian and foreign cinema producers — Meet Ukrainian Producers! — at the Cannes Film Festival for already four years in a row. Presentation of new Ukrainian film projects in 360 panoramic restaurant of Radisson Blu Hotel Cannes has attracted more than 100 film industry professionals from all over the world.
From 5 April till 10 April 2019 Igor Iankovskyi Foundation and State Film Agency in cooperation with the Ukrainian Embassy in France held «Nouvelle vague du cinéma Ukrainiеn» (New Wave of Ukrainian Cinema) film festival in Paris.
On September 7, for the first time the Igor Iankovskyi Foundation and the Monegasque Association Helping Hand together with the Ukrainian State Film Agency organized and held the industrial  breakfast under the slogan «Ukraine Is Your Destination» at the 43rd Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF 2018), the largest in North America, in Canada. The event, which entered the official program of industrial section of the film festival, has gathered more than 50 Ukrainian and foreign producers and professionals of the film industry. The presentation of new Ukrainian cinema projects took place in the state-of-the-art facility of the TIFF Bell Lightbox in thecenter of Toronto, built specifically for holding this film festival.
For the third year in a row at the Cannes Film Festival, Igor Iankovskyi Foundation «Initiative for the Future» and Monegasque Association Helping Hand together with the Ukrainian State Film Agency organize and host a business lunch for Ukrainian and foreign cinema producers «Meet Ukrainian Producers» Presentation of new Ukrainian cinema projects at the Radisson Blue Cannes Hotel has attracted more than 90 professionals in the film industry.
Film training in innovative marketing, films distribution methods with the participation of experts from four European countries was held jointly with Film Industry Association of Ukraine and Igor Iankovskyi All-Ukrainian Charity Foundation “Initiative for the Future” with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency. More than 400 Ukrainian filmmakers, producers, distributors, directors of cinemas, marketers participated in the training. The main goal of the training is to deepen participants’ knowledge of international marketing, sales, distribution and use of innovative strategies in film industry.
This event was organized jointly by the Association of the Ukrainian Film Industry and the Igor Iankovskyi Charity Foundation "Initiative for the Future", the event will be held with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency. Filmmakers, producers, distributors, directors of cinemas, marketers are invited to participate in the training. The main goal of the training is to deepen participants' knowledge of international marketing, sales, distribution and use of innovative marketing strategies, and the creation and promotion of the audience.
At the contest program of the jubilee of the 70th International Film Festival in Locarno (Switzerland), two Ukrainian films participated at once: Pavel Ostrikov's short film "Vypusk '97" and the Ukrainian-Italian film directed by Andrea Magnani "Easy". And both of these films received awards at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world.
On the 21st of May 2017, Igor Iankovskyi Foundation, NGO “Initiative for the Future” and Helping Hand Monegasque Association jointly with Ukrainian State Film Agency have conducted a business-lunch event «Meet Ukrainian producers!» for cinema industry professionals, for the second year in a row. The event generated great interest among cinema-makers, having gathered more than 80 international and Ukrainian cinema industry representatives at the panorama hall of the «Le 360» restaurant (Radisson Blu Cannes Hotel).
From May 17 to 28, 2017 in France, at the anniversary Cannes Film Festival the Ukraine will be represented by its own pavilion at the professional area – at Film Market Marche du Film. Organizers of this year's pavilion by the Ukrainian State Film Agency, KIFF "Molodist", Ukrainian Cinema Association, Film Industry Association of Ukraine, Association of Producers of the Ukraine and Igor Iankovskyi Ukrainian Charity Foundation "Initiative for the Future".
11th of November 2016. International Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) has kick-started in the capital city of Estonia to last until the 27th of November 2016. Within the festival will be held the biggest co-production market in North-East Europe – “Baltic Event Co-production Market”, the fifteenth in a row, from the 17th to 24th November. Ukrainian State Film Agency jointly with Igor Iankovskyi National Charity Foundation “Initiative for the Future” have organized at Baltic Event 2016 a set of actions under common theme - “Focus Ukraine”, in order to promote Ukrainian cinema. On the 20th of November the Head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency, Pylyp Illienko, will personally conduct a presentation entitled “Ukraine – Your New Co-Production Partner”. The presentation will be followed by a movie projection, created by Vitalii Manskyi in a co-production with Ukraine, Estonia, Latvia and Germany. After the projection, all the guests will be invited to the “Nordic Hotel Forum” to the special Ukrainian reception where cinema makers, distributors, festival representatives and sales agents could make new business acquaintances. The section Baltic Event 2016: International Works In Progress will present selected 14 movie projects under production from all-around the world. Among them – three projects that are being realized with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency: “When the Trees are Falling” by Marysia Nikitiuk (winner of the Agency’s 7th contest round); “Bobot” by Maksym Ksiondza (winner of the Agency’s 7th contest round); “Izi” by Andrea Maniani (winner of the Agency’s 4th contest round). As noted Pylyp Illienko, the Head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency: “It is very important to represent Ukrainian cinema on this festival’s movie market because Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is the only class “A” festival in Northern Europe. There is only 15 festivals in the world with this kind of privilege. The chosen Ukrainian projects have been already remarked by other international festivals’ movie markets. Of equal importance is planned presentation “Ukraine – Your New Co-Production Partner”, where I will stroke all the advantages, particularities and prospective of co-production with cinematic Ukraine”.
